This document provides a very brief (2 page) overview of how the NOAA Sea Grant program helps in the development of U.S. aquaculture policy. The Sea Grant program claims to be at the forefront of efforts to grow the U.S. marine aquaculture industry through an integrated program of research, education and technology transfer. Sea Grant’s focus is to identify and understand the key scientifvic, engineering, environmental and socioeconomic issues and opportunities that are relevant to the growth of aquaculture in the U.S.
