The Pond Dynamics/Aquaculture Collaborative Research Support Program (PD/A CRSP) conducts research that contributes significantly to the removal of major constraints to aquacultural development, thereby promoting economic growth and enhancing food security. This report describes the activities and accomplishments of the PD/A CRSP during the period 1 August 1997 to 31 July 1998. It reports on studies in a wide range of aquaculture subjects (Pond Dynamics, Reproduction Control, Marketing and Economic Analysis, Aquaculture System Modeling, Adoption / Diffusion) conducted in developing regions around the world (Central America, South America, East Africa, Southeast Asia).
