The first part of this report compares production costs of culture systems currently being used or evaluated in the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Republic of Belau, the Federated States of Micronesia and American Samoa. The second part of the report analyzes the optimal harvest time (replacement cycle) to maximize economic returns for the giant clam, T. derasa.
