The National Animal Health Monitoring System (NAHMS) undertook the Catfish '97 Study to provide the industry with information regarding catfish health and management practices at the national level for education and research. This report is the second in a series documenting Catfish '97 results. It documents aspects of catfish production such as water quality management, stocking and feeding practices, harvesting methods, and health management issues.
